I had a few ideas for our front page.

1) "Recent Awards". Just how you have Recent Promotions I thought it would be cool if you had another box for recent awards. It could say this - "COA408 Kyle Vander Ark - Houston Regional" Then that could stay up for a week or whatever the promotions are set to. That would be pretty cool.

2)Ventrilo Status - I know I have brought this up to Donno before but I think this would be awesome. Just like how it use to say how many people were on our TeamSpeak.. If there is some kind of screening for Ventrilo that we could put on the front page that would be awesome.

Just a few ideas.. Keep em or throw em. Doesn't matter to me. Just thought I would share.

We used to show the number of Ventrilo connections so it is possible.

Even more useful, I think, would be to know who's on Ventrilo without logging into Ventrilo. Even if this was only available to VCAir drivers who log in to the website, it would be great.

Well actually I don't believe it is with this host.  Unlike Teamspeak there is no standard protocol for getting stats off a Ventrilo server.  We are forced to rely on what each host provides which in this case is nothing.

As far as your other suggestion Kyle, I'll mention them at the management meeting and see what everyone thinks.

Hey Kyle,

Keep throwing the ideas out on the table. I like it. We've got a monthly meeting where we bring things like this up for consideration. So, just give us a little time to have the next meeting. We'll let you know how it goes.

P.S.: I went back to the original post in this thread. I'll find out what's been discussed about displaying recent awards as well. Being that you posted that while I was away from staff, I'm not sure what's already been discussed.

I can handle those as long as they are on the logged in version. I am just thinking of corporate observers from out workplaces.
