I think this airport will be showing on my route plan sometime soon! This photo is just too cool.

Wow, amazing picture and an amazing airport.. Couldn't imagine flying into that field. What kind of planes are those silver ones sitting to the left of the runway? PC-12's? Curious to see what flies in there..

Nice find!

It would make for a great GA flight, but it needs $ scenery to work right in FSX since it renders it flat.

Pat's correct. If you don't have the scenery "Courchevel", it is not such an exciting airport. Some immediate facts "length of 525 metres and a gradient of 18.5% in order to help slow landing aircraft.".

ICAO: LFLJ

Another interesting spot is Sion in Switzerland... LSGS. Without the scenery, it's just 'ho hum'.

Cheers,

Keith

That Airport is awesome.

FS9

Step One: Alpes_LOD11_west
Alpes_LOD11_centre
Alpes_LOD11_east

Step Two: AltiportsV21b

Step Three: Update AFCAD

FSX

Step One(Highly recommend): Mesh Alpes LOD11 V3

Step Two : Altiports Alpes Xv2

After install go to
FSX Airport: LFLJX

This is freeware

Maybe a stupid question, how do I spawn at LFLJX? I did LFLJ and I was in the trees and mountains so I took off and flew over and saw LFLJX.. Miserable landing but still fun. lol

Here's some shots from FS9. The Twotter makes it easy.

Based on the runway markings, it looks as if it has a precision approach associated with the runway.....if that is true, THAT would be remarkable. Gotta get that scenery (right after I get the PMDG MD11).
